Carla Calabrese (She/Her), CIPM

Carla has been a trusted member of the Mara Consulting family for close to seven years. As a senior business and privacy analyst, she takes great pride in her work and is passionate about collaborating with clients to support them in advancing their privacy programs. She is a certified privacy professional and has played a key role in developing training and privacy management frameworks, assessing current and future states, analysing privacy impacts and gaps, documenting business processes and identifying risks and recommendations. She has worked on upwards of fifty privacy impact assessments for provincial and municipal government clients throughout the Maritimes over her seven years with Mara. 

Prior to life with Mara, Carla gained 15 years of public sector experience within the Government of New Brunswick and 13 years’ experience in private industry. Affectionately referred to as a ​‘workhorse’ by her team, she is known for being a caring and compassionate team member, coach and mentor, for building relationships, her strong belief in the value of investing in people, and for her high personal and professional standards. Carla specializes in organizational change management, workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and leadership training. She is bilingual and loves animals, home décor and her vibrant collection of house plants – though nothing is more important to her than her family.
