Elise Renz (She/Her), BA, CIPP/C

Elise is a Senior Privacy Consultant with over six years of privacy experience and thirteen years of experience in health-related settings. A certified information privacy professional (CIPP/C), Elise holds a post-graduate certificate in Health Informatics. Elise brings extensive experience supporting health and technology projects by providing trusted privacy advice, identifying and assessing risk, and delivering pragmatic recommendations for risk mitigation. She has worked as a privacy professional in both the private and public sectors, supporting a range of initiatives including virtual care solutions, integrated electronic health records, disease screening programs and analytics initiatives. 

Elise is also an experienced and passionate people leader who prioritizes developing and maintaining trust-based relationships. She is a thoughtful communicator and takes pride in communicating complex privacy and legislative matters to diverse audiences while building consensus. She is focused on enabling clients’ business objectives while protecting and advancing privacy. When not at work, Elise enjoys travelling, singing with a local choir, cheering on her favourite sports teams, and spending time with family.
