Trevor Cook (He/Him)

Trevor Cook is a founding Principal with Mara Consulting and a Senior Architect with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, focused on large public sector and healthcare projects. Trevor has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of solution architecture and design, system integration, identity management, service design, security and privacy, and cloud architecture and design. Trevor’s curious mind and passion for technology drive his ongoing motivation to find elegant and pragmatic solutions to his client’s most challenging and complex problems and needs. 

Trevor is equally effective explaining complex technical topics to both experienced technologists and senior business executives and is often called upon to facilitate discussions between these groups. This has contributed to his success in roles such as lead architect, senior technology advisor and strategist, security lead and facilitator on large public sector and healthcare projects across Canada. 

Trevor hails from Edmonton, Alberta where he earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Alberta. Now living in Halifax for over a decade, he feels very fortunate to call these two amazing cities home. When not at work, Trevor spends his time running the beautiful local trails, looking for new and classic vinyl to add to his record collection and enjoying precious family time together at the rink, around the dinner table or in front of the latest Netflix release.
